Shockers And Suspension Struts
If your car is getting on in mileage then there is going to come a time when the either the shockers, struts or even both need replacing. Many wait until the MOT test before doing any replacements, but you can normally notice that they need replacing when the car becomes very hard over bumps, or it leans to one side or down.
For many cars, this is not a hard job and can be done by most DIY savvy guys, although compressing the unit can take a bit of force and you need to be careful with the brake lines. Here is part one of another DIY video on how to change struts or shocks on your car.
